Not manufacturing but agriculture when growing it although illegal nonetheless (in the UK).

The regulations regarding personal use are yet another half cocked law passed by this incompetent government. Illegal to gro, illegal to process, illegal to distribute. So under what circumstances does it become legal to use and what is an acceptable level of possession? The government have basically allowed people to break any number of laws to possess dope without prosecuting.

Yes, it is considered manufacturing. Penalties depend on the state you live in. People take chances for different reasons. Some to make money some to produce their own supply. Again that depends on the laws in the state you live.

if you are growing it, you will have a tough time convincing the authorities it is for personal use and not distribution.

The chances of being caught if you are not selling it are small though. I know people that have done it, but be careful you don't get greedy and try to make money out of it.

Good luck and i hope you get some good smoke out of it.

In my state, there is no penalty for personal use. If it is over a certain amount, there is a 100-200 fine...no sweat, if people want to they grow it and the cops could care less...(plus we don't even have cops where I live)...living free here..

Yes it is considered manufacturing, it will be down to the police and the criminal prosecution service to decide if prosecuting is in the public interest.
