They have a plan. Stay the course. More cash for the defense industry. More cash for Haliburton. More cash for "The decider" and his cronnies.

I guess it is we stay long enough that only we and cockroaches remain. Seriously there isn't a plan, Bush has declared Mission Accomplished years ago. The truth is that Iraq War is a tale of "I told you so", remember when the republicans came up with slogans and catch phrases for if you opposed the war, or said there might be a civil war, or we need an exit plan.
Imagine someone asking you to jump out of a plane and when you ask them where's the parachute they say, you are a coward.
Bad news for republicans the technique is wearing out.

It's VERY irresponsible and it has been since 2003!
But then again idiot elitists inside the Beltway won't be taking fire on the front lines, our troops (Especially ones who signed up to avenge 911 not finish Daddy's War) are the ones taking fire.
It's easy to back a surge when you go to and from Washington power lunches and meetings.
I think their plan is to put enough troops on the ground to keep Iraq stable enough until January 2009. Then the troops can be withdrawn on someone else's watch!

They have no plan. When theres a civil war, you have to let the two sides battle it out, we Americans are just in the way over there. The plan was to get Saddam and we got him, case closed, time to pull our troops out and declare Victory.

To the nationalist mouthpieces on this board, victory in Iraq apparently means killing everyone who doesn't worship Jesus or YHWH.

In reality, the "war on terror" falls into the same category as the "war on drugs" ---- unwinnable, because the actions taken against the perceived evil are what created the evil in the first place.

There is no Republican plan or Democrat plan.

There is a military plan.

The plan is to eliminate the threat of insurgents and militia, have a trained and fully functional military and police, and to have the government functioning fully in all aspects.

That is victory.

I just want to see what the administration's definition of "victory" is. Does anyone have a reference/link to that, or an informed opinion on what it is?

A stable Iraq. One that can withstand pressure from outside influences (radical Islam--Iran and Hezbollah).

It is irresponsible to allow radical Islam to gain control of Iraqi oil fields.

And it is also irresponsible to declare that Republicans have no plan, since Congress is busy trying to overthrow the plan.

Our President, has stated our objective, several Hundred times. But Lib's keep twisting his words. Now go pull some of President Bush's Speeches. And Report back, what he's said. Homework don't end when School does.

IT'S SIMPLE...

A soveriegn, representative democracy. You Liberals want to make simple things difficult where it serves your agenda. Try putting God, country, and soldier ahead of your selfish politics for once.

You don't even have enough respect to spell "troop" correctly. Why doesn't that suprise me (rhetorical question). Conservative families with sons and daughters in our all voluntary army don't need Liberal crocodile tears. You know full well that if it meant victory in 2008, you'd have every American soldier die execution style.
