Some people have low body fat, and other people are anemic. Both of these things apply to me so I'm always cold natured.

I hear you! I use to get frustrated with others that said they were cold all of the time. That is until it happened to me. Heck, I use to go out in the snowy weather without a coat and it didn't bother me. Now I'm bundled up like a bear and I set my furnace on 80. After being more tired than usual, losing strength in my arms, being cold (even in the summer) and having one of my fingers swell several times they finally determined that I was hypothyroid. Most people who have this malfunction of their thyroid don't get "swelling of the finger" :) There are a large variety of symptoms and everyone seems to be different. If I were you I'd have your thyroid checked. It's a simple blood test and takes just a few seconds. Good luck and God bless!

well from your name i take it you are older

on a medical point of view
you joints have been used for many yrs and the cold gets to them more now then before and also as an older person you blood thins out a little bit and also your metabolism has started to slow down so yes the colder weather will get to you more that is why most older ppl like warmer places
