No - I don't think that he is the greatest president ever. But I do think that he is far from the worst ever as well. People pick on Bush when he is an honest man that is doing his best. The ones that complain could never hold the office themselves.

I don't know who Goerge Bush. George W. Bush is destined to go down as one of the worst if not the worst president we've ever had!
-Failing to prevent 911, the worst terrorist attack on our soil ever!
-Exploiting 911 to get us into a contrived War for Oil
-Bankrupting this country to the benefit of war profiteers like Haliburton, DynCorp, and CCCI. We started out with a projected surplus in 2000.
-Handing our financial future over to the Chinese so that we can afford this war.
-Exploiting 911 to grab power at the expense of our soldiers lives and our Constitution.
If you can get over all that, HE'S STILL A SPOILED LITTLE RICH KID WHO'S HAD EVERYTHING HANDED TO HIM HIS ENTIRE LIFE! INCLUDING THE PRESIDENCY OF THE UNITED STATES!!!

He is many things, but "Greatest" is not the adjective I would use.

He IS the first convicted felon to be elected President

The first Deserter from the US Military in a Time of War:
http://www.glcq.com/bush_at_arpc1.htm

The least educated President, the only President to bankrupt EVERY business he ran commerically, the only President who was a "cherleader" in college. The President with the fewest televised speeches and press conferences since TV was invented.

The only President to imply John McCain, a decorated war veteran and POW during the Vietnam War, was both "gay" and had fathered a child out of wedlock, both of which are not true, but that doesn't matter to Bush. Bush has said he's "been to war", although he hasn't, not even close. In fact, it's EXTREMELY difficult to find ANYONE in Bush's cabinet who had served in the military or fought in a war. The only US President to say "Mission Accomplished" during a war, meaning the war was done, then continue to fight it.

Bush is the only President arrogant enough to believe he knows better than almost 3/4s of the people HE WAS ELECTED TO REPRESENT, to where he ignores their wishes entirely.

He deliberately lied about nuclear weapons in Iraq.

He lied when he said he would "smoke Osama bin Laden out of his hole".

He lied when he said he supports the troops, but then sends them to Iraq with no body or vehicle armor.

His head man for FEMA was completely incompetent, making disastrously delayed and inept decisions in the wake of one of the most horrific natural disasters in US history, Hurricane Katrina.Thousands died, many other thousands have been displaced and are still without adequate shelter or employment and most of the parishes in LA are STILL under water (only the POOR parishes, but still).

If you consider that performance record "Great", what's your idea of "BEST"?

Could you really compare him to Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, or FDR?
The republicans would have a great president one day but this is not it, not in a million years.
