Yes, there was talk about cancelling when it first aired, because the ratings was not good. I thought the show was lame myself, although I loved Friends. The show was canceled after the first season.

yes it was cancelled due to poor ratings, the blonde girl who was his love interest ( can't think of her name) is now on the show the class, also in real life, he left his wife for her!!!
