i have swim championships tomorrow...should i swim tonight?

if you're feeling a little tight, you might want to get in and do a loosen swim... maybe 1000 yards of REALLY easy swimming... my team gets in the afternoon before we leave for championships and does maybe 1000-2000 yards, if that. Just stretch it out, and avoid doing pull with paddles or kick with fins or anything that would raise your heartrate above 120-140.

yes, but not a full-out workout. swimming is an interesting sport where you can lose a feel for the water in a short amount of time, but you don't want to wear yourself out. good luck!

No. Before meets a taper is usually done. You gradually decrease the amount of practice time so that your body can rest and store up energy.
