Rai is not what I would call beautiful. But beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. If you think Rai is, that's fine. I just don't happen to agree, and I don't suppose Rai will lose much sleep over it.

I see where you are coming from.. When Yahoo titles Aishwarya Rai as the "world's most beautiful woman", it is comparing her with the other Miss Worlds. You are right in pointing out that many other women in the world could be more beautiful than Ash Rai. But, unfortunately, they choose NOT to enter the Miss World beauty pageants. So, Ash Rai's title remains, and reportedly, there are some 17 000 websites to her beauty.

no i really dont think so.beauty comes from the inside.all of ud feel she's really beautiful, well most of us dont even know her at all.and besides there are so many people out there who are not super stars or celebs and maybe even more beautiful, we just haven't seen those people yet.as for looks, yes aishwarya really looks too good

Ash is overated, she is pretty but i would not name her the most beautiful in the world or in Bollywood. without make - up , ash looks sick - she needs to wear loads of make - up to look good.
If you want to see a beautiful indian women that is definately LISA RAY - she is naturally beautifully - she acted in water with John Abrahams.
