I agree with Lyn except for the part about the ER, they can't do anything there for you and you will wait hours and hours there for nothing, especially since you're not even bleeding. Why do people *always* say to go to the ER? If a very early miscarriage has begun there is nothing anyone can do other than bedrest, fluids, and possibly other inventions if applicable such as progesterone or baby aspirin/blood thinners (given for miscarriages that result from a lack of progesterone in the early weeks, or antibodies which cause clotting disorders and lead to miscarriage). But these are things that need to be diagnosed by a doctor and generally the OB or endo won't test until you've lost two pregnancies anyway.
Feb 7th is almost a week away, why can't you go in to your doctor a bit sooner? Seeing the heartbeat on a vaginal ultrasound might be possible at this stage and will certainly ease your mind.

you would be ok. I have been given pregnant with my 2nd baby while my son develop into in basic terms 6 months previous and that i've got autoimmune/thyroid themes. i'm ok and my childrens have been born healthful too. i'm particular you're exhausted from having a baby and being pregnant so quickly (i develop into lol!) yet you would be superb. human beings in Africa do no longer usually have the scientific care and nutrition that we've here. make sure you have your hubby or a pal or depended on relative watch your toddler for you (even for an hour or 2) so which you would be able to flow to mattress and take a nap for a pair hours and you will sense greater effectual. Even going to mattress an hour or 2 until now at evening could make a huge distinction.

1st of all you need to think about yourself and the baby, and not your job, employers have a responsibilty to care for their employees especially when they are delicate, like pregnant. I would speak to your line manager/boss and tell them the situation, they cannot tell anyone else unless you allow them to. Get yourself down to the dr's and tell him what the problem is. It doesnt sound to me like you are miscarrying, these pains just ARE when you are pregnant, but its very hard to know when to be worried and when not to be worried.
I had a pain in the same area which kept travelling high up my side taking my breath away, it turned out to be the baby agitating my stomach and making my diaphragm cramp, so you are better getting checked out.
Most women say that they have cramps and a pulling feeling so think positively until you speak to the doctor, if you cant get away call them and ask for advice
Congratulations on the good news and Good Luck

Try not to panic. It is possible it's a benign ovarian cyst that is dissolving. If there is no bleeding, you haven't miscarried. You should call your doctor's office and explain what exactly is going on. If they still won't see you and you are still frightened then you can go to the emergency room. Be well.
NB: I said go to the ER because they can perform an ultrasound and prescribe safe pain medication if you need it.

Try to stay calm. 5 or 6 weeks is still very early on in a pregnancy, and your body is undergoing many changes which you may feel. I had those types of pain normally with both of my kids in early pregnancy. Call your doctor, and see if they can work you in sooner. Even if you can just get in and hear the heart beat it will make you feel better.

Knowing your history, I'm sure your doctor would want see you immediately and not wait for your scheduled appointment.
Taking a few hours or one day off work now may save you missing much more work down the road.

Go to the ER. Just because you don't have an appointment doesn't mean you can't go see a Dr.
And definitely call in sick.
FYI, Braxton Hicks don't start till the 3rd trimester. This could just be babycramps though, as I like to call them

take the time out to call or go to the dr or emergency room. this could be anything from problems with the baby , gas, urinary tract infection, etc.....
if you're at all worried about losing the baby, get yourself checked.
going unchecked could cause problems not only with you and the possibility of losing this baby but also problems with the baby itself.
for a healthy mom and baby, do something.....I myself would call off work, find out what's wrong and take a dr's excuse in.
