Fear is entirely based on our perception of a particular situation based on our knowledge.

a person is going through a jungle and there he approaches a cave.he may fear or not fear.
if he fears the reason might be
he has learnt a cave may shelter dangerous animals or fearsome creatures that can cause harm.
previously he might have experienced an unpleasant event involving cave
at the time he sees the cave the conscious mind recollects his previous experience(if any) causing him to fear
also in case of fearsome creatures
he should have known it may cause harm or experienced any harm previously
due to anxiety caused by a situation being confronted for the first time about which he don't have correct information
if he don't fear
he might not have known the above facts or
he has not had any previous incident involving the perceived object or
he has a prepared mind to face any possible hurdle or obstacle.
if it is a toddler he might well enter the cave
due to his ignorance and innocence

Why we fear tomorrow something we know nothing:
It has been the instinct in man ever since the fall of man in garden of Eden. We can never do away with this fear of tomorrow as long as we are caged in the flesh. Solution to this fear of uncertainty about tomorrow/future is salvation. Why? In all the books I have ever read bible is the only book that said specifically that man should not worry or fear about tomorrow if you give your life to Jesus Christ. I tried it and it worked. I was freed from my fear,worry and anxiety about tomorrow even when I know Ican do nothing to prevent or adjust it. I learnt to give my tomorrow to God and He always take care of it.

I agree with 'iritadragon'. A person of virtue and character, who has never done anything wrong will never fear for tomorrow. it's only the people who have a concious feeling that they have nopt done things well yet who fear.
Like if your didn't study well for your exams, you'll have the fear of not performing well in your exams. Once you haven't performed well, you will fear for the day when results are annuonnced cos you know you may be punished by your parents.
We all are performers here and the God is the one who declares the results and evaluates each of us. A person who has done really well need not worry.

Do we really fear tommorow? Or is it that we fear the unknown? Anyone who fears tomorrow must live a pretty hazardous life, filled with uncertainity and lacking faith. One fears tomorrow when their life is not in line with GOD, and they have unfinished business and the dream list hasnt been completed. For the Christian if tomorrow doesnt come its okay, but to the unsaved if tomorrow doesnt come its a punishment.

We only fear tomorrow when we have let today get out of our control. If we live our lives fully, doing at least one thing every day that can leave a positive legacy in people's remembrance of us, then we will always look forward to tomorrow.

It is simply the fear of something we know nothing about. If we knew what tomorrow would hold, maybe we wouldn't fear it at all.

it is basically a human fear of facing the uncertain
our subconcious minds are always trying to guess about what tomorrow will be like whether we are aware of that or not .So in this hotch potch ot trying to guess we let our fears of worse overcome that of good things happening .
What would be good for you would be to have a positive outlook always no matter how tough things might seem .l

With out knowing the things nature, our conses will not accept. by the same this today we are able to see what is going on. But tomorrow is forth coming time, we are unable forcaste, that's why we have fear.

Tommorrow never comes, for one thing but people should not fear the unknown..They should look forward to the everyday task at hand and not worry about something that may not happen..

Those are scared of tomorrow, who are haveing some kinda ambitions and have taken steps towards it to make it come true.......and they are scared of tomorrow, since they are feared to see it happen negative.
