NO PARTY REALLY:
Here's why...
*privatization of everything or almost everything that can be privatized
REPUBLICAN OR LIBERTARIAN
*less taxes and smaller government
REPUBLICAN OR LIBERTARIAN
*God and bibles should have absolutely NOTHING to do with governement; I want the word God removed from the money
DEMOCRAT
*firearms should be outlawed, except for policemen and a few others (but it would be very difficult to get)
DEMOCRAT
*I'm pro-choice, pro-gay marriage and pro-stem cell research
DEMOCRAT OR LIBERATARIAN
*I'm against the war in Iraq
DEMOCRAT
FINAL SCORE: 4 DEMOCRAT; 3 LIBERTARIAN; 2 REPUBLICAN.

A Liberal with a good idea about Government and taxes. Unusual to find a Liberal with a good idea too! If you look into the gun deal I could almost call you a moderate Democrat or Republican. Do some research on the gun control issue. NY and Washington have outlawed guns, and see where that got them with the violent crime. The states that passed the right for citizens to carry concealed weapons all have a reduction in violent crime. You seem smart enough to look into this one for yourself.

You are a rare bird indeed ... a Repressive Libertarian.
You want small government and the government to control things in people's lives.
You want to turn "liberty" into a commodity to be sold on the NYSE, and yet hope to be allowed to run free.
You want research and development of scientific miracles, but don't want to spend money on them, or else you would trust a bunch of bean-counting corporate accountants to realize the benefits of YOU living a longer, healthier life.
You are just too dang conflicted in your beliefs to constitute a "party," except maybe a "party of one."
Think a bit about your desires, and you may modify some of them so that they make some kind of sense.

Be not dismayed. Unlike most of the other answers I disagree with, you are a logical, rational American who defies labels. Most of us are middle of the road and espouse some of one side and some of the other. We are not monolithic despite what the parties want us to be. I do not agree with some of your stances but that is neither here nor there.

You don't really belong to either in the US. The first two indicate Republican, but everything else is highly liberal Democrat.

Libertarian is the closest to embracing all of your beliefs.
Late edit-ck4829...the first two tenets are historically Republican, I'm a Dem, & sadly my party tends toward MORE govt being good

Sounds like you would be a Democrat to me although going on the first two positions sounds Libertarian though.

You are like Hilliary Clinton, you flip flop back and forth, she does not know who she is, what she is far , so she flip flops. Guess you belong to the flip flop Political Party like she does. Guess you are for US being like a communist country too, right? Hilliary is. You asked for opinion, are you going to get mad like she does when one does not agree with her, or except opinions with grace, afterall you did ask.

What party did choose when you registered to vote. If you didn't choose a party then, then you don't belong to any party.
