Yep! Drill out the holes to a set diameter - say 6mm. Buy some 6mm wooden dowels from a hardware store and some wood glue! Squirt the wood glue into the holes and put in the wooden dowels (you may have to cut to size to make a level surface). Let the glue dry overnight and re-drill your holes!

Job done!

Take them off again and buy some Two Pack, wood filler (screwfix.com, quote item no.33117-85). Fill the holes, Sand them down and start again. This time, learn from your mistakes and take time to work out exactly where the hinges should be fixed. Pre-drill the holes (with a drill bit smaller in diameter than the screw) and use screws that are designed for use on MDF of an appropriate length (screwfix.com, Turbo-gold wood screws for use on MDF). Good luck and take your time!

You might try a hidden hinge, they have them at Lowes, the screw to the inside of the cabnet not the outside, But you better get some advice on how to do it, you are running out of " one more trys" the hinge is all inside the door and can't be seen from the outside. Fill the old holes and stian them the best you can, and i wouldnt get MDF cabnets again, Cheap wood is cheep quality. this example lets you move the hinge anywhere you want it so you wont drill the same hole twince

Yes, dowels etc to repair. Make a couple of test jobs, to ensure you get it spot on. I've found the chippies marking gauge great to get things like this spot on
