No, I would never be a porn star. Money wouldn't make a difference to me because I am morally opposed to having sex with completely random people, for pay or not.

Also, I am not 100% against porn in the sense that I understand why some people like it in moderation, and I can see some of its uses for couples and individuals, but 9 times out of 10 I will say porn is bad for society, people (especially children), and relationships. A lot of porn is degrading to women, which I am really passionate about. Porn highlights on male/female stereotypes and paints a portrait of sex that is often extremely unrealistic. Some people can fully seperate reality from fantasy, but for a lot of avid watchers the lines get skewed eventually.

Mostly why I wouldn't do it is because with the availability of porn so readilly on the internet, and the desensitization happening in our society, porn continues to push the envelope in the ways it degrades people and starts to incorporate sick, twisted ideas into it. I wouldn't want to be a part of something that would make me feel gross and low, and like I'm doing something very wrong. Porn also has a way of making women feel bad about themselves and I would have a problem with contributing to that.

All around, being in porn for me would cause too much guilt and shame. STDs are scary and rampant, even though they get tested often. People that I know and love would probably not accept me if I were involved in porn. Besides, you can only do porn for so long before you're too old for it. Then who will hire you? What kind of skills will you have that would transfer over to the real world? Unless you're Jenna Jameson or Ron Jeremy, I think its a pretty difficult lifestyle and not a life-long career.
