Parents don't act like the star gazing teenagers they once were.
As people mature,so does the relationship change and what was once a highly sexually charged base for them being together gradually moves on to one which is about sharing and caring for eachother.
Parents also have a host of other problems to contend with-household bills-jobs-raising the kids and so on.And they get tired and as a result are often less communicative and show less in the way of demonstrative love.
But love eachother I daresay they do-in their own way and in a way that suits them

Some people could be inlove but not show it, your mother loves your dad but after years of marriage a couple sometimes stop showing affection to each other, maybe shes grouchy or mean but that dosent mean that she dont love him. Sometimes mairrage becomes to routine, maybe your dad should take her out to dinner or dancing or surprise her with flowers a hug and kiss that will lighten her up.

Sometimes MOM's just live in an existence of their lives living with the man she married because it's to expensive to get a divorce. Call these women victims of UNdivorce.
What your parent do behind closed doors you'll never know. They may love / hate each other .......
It's not your call or for you to say what your MOM still is or isn't!

A good many women tend to go through a mid life crisis in their late 30s, early 40s. If she married young and is around that age, her thoughts may be betraying her, you, and your father.

I dont know how old are you, but if you can realize this then you must be old enough to choose your life. And i think either if she does or she doesnt, they need to choose their life, and you must let them live any way they wish, any way they love to live.
