You have to let go of jealous people. They are bad medicine. I have a friend who is like that. As a result, whenever there is anything good happening in my life I don't tell her. I just try to remain civil with her and believe me she has noticed that I am a bit withdrawn. So what she is doing right now is trying to use me as a bridemaid in her wedding to "hold on to me". What is the point of having a friend if you can't share the highs and lows in your life? Let her go man.

well yes she is definitely jealous and so giving you the cold shoulder...
i think she is not the best of friends, but that's no reason to dump her or stop talking to her, sometimes it's not easy for people to see their friends getting everything they dream of, she's maybe happy for you but at the same time she wishes she gets the same things you're getting as well, it does not mean she wishes you harm or anything.
when she's giving you the cold shoulder she is giving herself the time to get over her lack of whatever she wants..
give her a break and be the bigger person here...
best wishes.

wow!
this sounds just like me last year!
i came first in 4 subjects at school last year, one of my friends started ignoring me and giving me the cold shoulder too.
it was really weird, because all my other friends were normal and congratulating.
so i asked her .. you should ask too.
