how do i get out of the hotel in part chapter 3, i am desparate

I'd love to help but it's been nearly 7 years since i played it so I may be wrong.... It'll be a window, possibly, second floor...

Boss Fight: Finito Brothers
The first scene sees Max confronting the Finito Brothers. Use Bullet Time to dust these guys. They both use sawed off shotguns, and you're in a close range room, so use the shotgun, or better yet, the Desert Eagle, to finish them off. After you clear them, another set of guards will enter, three of them. Just line them up at the door and nail 'em. Open up everything in the Finito Brothers' office, and pick up Painkillers, Desert Eagle ammo, and Beretta ammo.

Walk out the door, down the stairs, and pick up some Painkillers from the bathroom.

Hint: Throughout the entire hotel, try to unlock every cabinet, chest, door, or whatnot to acquire more goodies, such as weapons and ammo.

Walk through the house and activate the radio for some key plot points. At the bottom of the stairs walk through the tall window; you don't need to shoot it to break through it (Max is invulnerable to such trivial injuries!).

From the outside ledge, head left, wait until the thugs in the next doorway are finished talking, and then throw a grenade in there to dust all three of them. Open the door, walk down the stairs, and start stalking the small hotel rooms, the first of which contains a resting crony with a shotgun. Kill him quickly. Turn on the vibrating bed and watch as it vibrates across the room, revealing a sawed-off shotgun.


Walk down the hallway and listen to the show, "Lords and Ladies" on the TV. The thug is overcome with sorrow. Blast him in the back of the head. From the far side of the hall, two more thugs will enter and shoot at you. Respond in kind. In the bathroom on the right are a junkie and some painkillers; smack one and acquire the others, respectively. At the end of the hallway and through the door, two more thugs will come at you.

One you walk through the door, the two nearby rooms are empty of goodies. In the next room, you'll hear two thugs talking to a vending machine. Stay out of sight, and they will walk away. Enter the room from where the sound is coming (on the right). Check the TV for a major plot point. Walk to the end of the hallway and into the open door.


After a loading screen, whack the one junkie and open the gray door. Four guys will attack. Walk down the hall and open the door marked 313, Muerte's room. Open it, and immediately dodge to the side outside the door, because a shotgun, rigged to the door, is set. Two guards from the right will attack. Nail them. Enter Room 313; check the letter on the table to the left for a major plot point. Pick up the sawed off shotgun on the bed. Head left, to the bathroom, blast the junkie and the guard, and grab some medicine. Walk out, blast the open the door directly across the hallway, and walk out to the window, carefully step out onto the ledge, walk right to the next room, enter the window, and collect major goodies, including Molotov cocktails.

Walk down the hallway, to the room with the water heater. Use a grenade or a Molotov Cocktail to blast it, and the heater will blow open a hole in the floor. Throw another grenade down the hole to nail a thug. It will attract two the thugs. Jump down and wipe them out.

You're now on the second floor. Walk down the hallway, and enter the door on the right. Pick up the hooker's diary on the table to reveal more story. Open the cabinet in the room, revealing a secret video camera, and pick up lots of ammo. Move to the next hallway. Three guards are ready for you. Get to the Service Elevator and activate it.
