Depends on how much you want to spend. A gold chain (bargains at Half Price Jewellers) or even a bottle of perfume? Money is nice but its even nicer to buy something and wrap it up all nice.
Hope this helps - enjoy the party!

Money in a card from a Mate's mum or Dad (Auntie or Uncle for that matter) has always been welcome from what I know, especially graduations and birthdays.
Alternatively, you might call your friend and ask for ideas.
The important thing is you are going to be there, and more importantly you are going to do something kind.

A photoframe mirror - its a mirror with about 10-12 little photo frames acting as a border, it will be personalised and the girls would love it. Its also not too expensive, I think its about £20. Try looking on amazon or ebay. Hope that helps.

i dont try to give money to these Young peeps as they tend to drink it away, but if you were to go to a antique shop and buy something for keep sake it will remind her of what you bought her on her 18Th it really works and she will never forget your pressie, and can only gain in value

Jewellery or money. That's what I give 18 and 21 year old girls.

Jewellery, is trendy at present, that's if you know her taste.
A glass and beaded jewellery/trinket box is a lovely keepsake.
These ideas would be a good choice if the girl is into girly things.

I think she'd be delighted with the money, that way she can put it towards something she really likes or wants and it saves you the hassle of running round shops too.

I would personally go for a gift voucher, for either clothes, make up or CDs/DVDs. Its a bit more personal than just money.
