i know what you mean! its kinda stupid. Everyone says they want equality. Why is it ok for blacks/mexicans/whoever else to put down white people in a joking manner, but when white people do it back, we are labled racist?

Say what you want, just think it out before you do. You may say things that you regret later, or that people will take offensively. I think everyone has a racist side to them, most won't admitt it because it would tarnish their self image. I know i'm racist, but I control my thoughts, and I do give people the benefit of doubt when I meet them, but I know that they are judging me as well and that's fine, looks can be decieving. For instance, This Black guy I work with looks like a big ol' gansta, but after we all got to know him, he's the nicest most polite guy I've ever meet, but I still don't believe in mixing races, it's just not for me, maybe for someone else, but not for me.. So just be who you are and let others judge you...

Say what you want. The only time I get offended is when someone decides that they need to call me a name because they can't offer a real answer (either because they are not in the know or they just simply want to deny), or try to demean my own history in some sort of way. And the comment about a fairytale history to the guy who posted it, how would you feel if I said that about yours? It's some things like that that aren't necessary. I agree with the person who wrote, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all (especially when it generalizes). And I do have to say, I try my hardest not to generalize when I see something that makes me angry - it just creates unneeded hostility and it isn't fair to other races (includes all, not just minorities) as is pointed out in the question.

Run away. There is NEVER, ever an excuse for that kind of comment. Even if he hadn't used the racial term, but had simply said "all women are good for is screwing with your head" it means he's an a s s. He's immature. If your comment made him upset, he should have talked with you about it, and not ranted his anger in a public forum. Get a new man who is more mature.

It won't last, things never do, they are in constant flux.

for all the propoganda we have been spoon fed over the last 30 years, people are already seeing the truth with their own eyes. look at all the people on here who agree with your point and imagine how many more there are out there.

say what you like and if someone calls you racist that just shows they have nothing to say for themselves except a weak sloganeering and a hope to silence you that way.

i am not a racist i hate every one bar none equally. wiil rogers may have said he never met a man he didnt like well i never met a man i liked. yet different races cultures can say anything they want towards me in all sorts of derrogitory comments but if i respond then i'm a racist. in all reality there is not a polically correct or globally accepted way to refer to some races cause what is acceptable to one is offensive to many so your damned either way. what i find insane is those same peoples claim to be a minority and have more rights than i do and my ancestors have been in this country since the beginning of time the rest came over on the mayflower!

No, if you comment fairly, you are not a racist. If misguided people call you a racist, let them deal with their problem.

I know what you mean. Watching the news last night where they have arrested 9 muslims in Birmingham, you get the impression that the muslim community feels they are exempt from the law. It's like "how dare they arrest muslim men again". Well I fully appreciate that all muslims are certainly not terrorists, but forgive me if I offend, but recently all the terrorists do seem to be muslim!!! Surely they can appreciate that if the police have intelligence that tells them that a group of people who happen to be muslim are to kidnap a man and kill him, they have to act on it. They don't even know the facts and they assume the police are in the wrong and that the people arrested are victims of some racially biased policing. So sick of it. Why can't they accept that there are rotten fruit in all communities?

I know what u mean, everything is so PC now the world has gone mad!! the fact is you are not allowed to dislike anyone who is a different ethnic origin to you especially if you are white because it is always assumed it is to do with race, nothing to do with if the person is nice or not!! this in itself is like reverse racism!
you just have to be so careful what u say now its best to just keep quiet!

You ever watch "Mind of Mencia" on comedy centel. He says what we all think but dont have the need to express out loud. Being PC serves an important purpose, but people need to not use as a tool to punish others.
