The new graphic is great but the new programme makes my internet connection crash about 20 times per session, and it even has problem to just open the initial internet page!
I want to have the old version on my computer. Or maybe I should just install firefox or other and forget about explorer.
Please advice. Thanx, V

Thanks to all the people who answered below. I uninstalled v.7 and am going to put firefox on my pc.
I'd love to go through the archives to find out about the solution to this problem and others but unfortunately I have to try to use the computer as less as possible for I already had to stop using my right hand thanks to the mouse pain syndrome or whatever it's called. Having a fully functioning pc is essential for me to be able to continue using it without too much effort and pain.
Thanks.
Valentina

Uninstalling Internet Explorer 7 RC1

To uninstall Internet Explorer 7 and restore Internet Explorer 6 when using Windows XP or Windows Server 2003

Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Click Add or Remove Programs.
Scroll down to Windows Internet Explorer 7, click it, and then click Change/Remove.
If you cannot find Internet Explorer 7 in Add or Remove Programs, click Start, click Run, type %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe, and then press ENTER.

Note: %windir% is the location of your Windows directory, which can usually be found at C:\Windows. To do this, you need to have "view hidden folders" enabled.

To uninstall IE7 just click on Save then Control Panel then Add/Remove Programs then find IE7 and click remove - this will return your PC to IE6. However, I don't think you should blame IE7 for your problem since I believe you have a setting that needs changing (please remember IE7 is now installed on over 100 million PC's so it must have something going for it).
You can also try Firefox and see if that is any better - you don't need to uninstall IE7 to try it.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.
