'Should' and 'Will' are two different words and they are poles apart. He will wriggle off the hook once again and bring his party into further disrepute.

Yes he should. Peerages are given on recommendation of the PM. Though they are officially given by the queen, how does the queen choose who gets a peerage? PM's recommendation of course. Enough said really.

It doesn't make a lot of difference whether or not Blair is guilty or not. If anything is proven about his closest aides he, as PM, must take the rap and resign. If it's proved that he was involved then anything could happen.
