Evil Dead is a great horror movie if you like a good bit of tongue in cheek gore. My favourite of the series though is Army of Darkness .

"Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn" is a pretty straight-forward remake of the first, pretty primitive (but still chillingly effective) "Evil Dead" movie. Sam Raime really gets to go nuts in the ED 2.
"Army of Darkness" although a very good movie, plays the whole "Evil Dead' genre for laughs. I thought I was watching "Abbott and Costello Meet the Zombies" at first.
Both good movies, but I prefer Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn personally

Evil Dead is a good horror movie. Evil Dead 2 is a good campy horror movie. Army of Darkness is a great campy movie :)

Evil Dead is a very good movie! It seems so homemade at firsts and then it gets better and very spooky. I really really like the demons they are so convincing.

I think that they are all good. But if I had to pick one I would pick Army of Darkness as the best. I don't have to choose though I have all three on DVD.

I have to say that I love all three of the films because they are alternatively funny and a little bit scary at the same time.

Evil dead is a stupid idiotic film, the worst horror I've seen in my life. Try the Dracula film with Gary Oldman in it, its good.
