i stopped watching it years ago when i had to live in a different place, but i remember always being curious if they finally realize they should like, get married?
i dont even know if it were wishful thinking, a dream, or a rumor that had me thinking there was an episode where they slept together >.<

They never came out and said it or showed that they hooked up, but there were implications of it in the last three seasons of the show. It was after Mulder was abducted by aliens that Scully found out she was pregnant, and then afterward practically professed her love for Mulder by her actions and demeanor.
Mulder had agreed to be the father of the baby through cold and clinical invitro fertilization, however he was "there" for her when the procedure "didn't work". There was no definitive answer on how the baby was conceived but most likely it was through Mulder and Scully's consummation; however in one episode they said the chip in her neck triggered the pregnancy. Regardless, their hook-up was strongly alluded to as a possibility if you listened to some of the dramatic narrations (by Mulder and Scully) at the beginning of some of those later episodes, meaning that even if the baby was conceived some other way, they still had slept together.
Then there was the fact that they ran away together at the end. And in general that they always went out of their minds when something happened to the other and bent over backwards to save each other from harm.
The show's creator always denied that it would happen but it was imminent.
You could speculate in either direction and provide arguments supporting that yes they did or no they didn't, but in a nutshell, yeah they did.

How else did they make a baby together? Some peope believe that William isn't Mulder's, but there are too many thngs to point to the fact that it is his. Well, some people speculated that maybe they "did it" in the episode All Things, but that is unlikely. At the end, you realize that Scully slept over, but she slept on the couch. But, they must have done it somewhere between episodes, they never did show a relationship other then their friendship/partnership,so, it makes you wonder. But, I bet they did sleep together, William is proof of that.

Uh, dude they had a baby the last year of the show. I mean Together, a boy named William who was gifted with Jesus like powers so they had to give him up for adoption to protect him....wasn't the best storyline, but what can you do.
