WOW.. What the HELL?? Your Parents get 15,000 per month? Tell them they can stay with me!!!!!

If your parents are staying with you then yes they should contribute for expenses.

I’d like to know WHY they are staying with you? With that kind of income they could go live on the QEII… Have fresh sheets every morning, caviar and travel the world.

$5000.00 per month??? What do they eat? How much water do they use? They could go live at a hotel for $164.00 per night at 5 grand per month…

If your wife is wanting that then you need to fess up to your parents that your wife is wanting them to pay up.

NOW if your expenses have INCREASED since they moved in and it totals 5 Gs then yea, that is fine… Show them the bills before and after they arrived. You need proof or they might get a little ticked.

I wonder how much your parent charge you when they were taking care of you
1st of all 5k is too much to ask for room & board
but still if you are in need for money you should decide on a reasonable ammount after all this is your relationship with them
keep your greedy wife out of it

It is not unreasonable to ask your parents to help out with their room and board. After all, they are causing you expenses, yes? 5K sounds like it's high tho. Sit down and figure out what it actually costs to feed and shelter them.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. It's not right to charge your parents, especially not bloody 5,000 dollars. Charge them for any extra expenses you incur, but nothing else. Don't make a profit off of them, it'll haunt you later.

To be practicle its not wrong. But if you are financially well off then please do not ask for money.Let them have their security.
