It would be easy to give you sentences using these words, but I do not understand the w/prefixes part. Please explain?

After a decent interval we entered the funeral home.

I will replay the movie so you can see it too.

When he topped the fluids in my car, the mechanic also remembered to check the anti-freeze.

I rode my bicycle to school.

After a hard day at work, I like to de-stress with a good workout followed by a massage.

The project was non-governmental so it was a corporate deal.

Don't contradict your parents; they know what is best for you.

Due to a silly misunderstanding, we had a stupid argument over nothing.

3. antifreeze - never heard of this word. It should be de-freeze
4. Bicycle. A bicycle has two wheels.

6. Non-governmental. SOS Villages is a Non-governmental organisation that works for upliftment of children in third world countries
7. Contradict - Her daughter always contradicts Shiela ever since she started going to college.
8. Misunderstanding - It is better to sit across the table and clarify any misunerstanding that may arise.

i agree mostly with young_friend, however I will use "anti-freeze"(I suspect he is not in the USA) and more clarify "contradict".

Antifreeze(also known as coolant in the hot months, dont ask me why)- If you are out of antifreeze, you can fill your cars radiator with plain water, but it will not offer the same protection and will freeze in extreme cold.

Contradict-His actions always contradict his words, as he rarely does what he says he will.

Hope this helps:)
