I'm writing a small warning note in a lab procedure, and I was wondering if I could put the biohazard symbol next to the warning (since it is toxic if ingested, and it's a skin and eye irritant), or if I have to use the toxic symbol, which is a skull. (I would much rather use the biohazard symbol, but If I should use the toxic symbol then I will).

If I can use the biohazard symbol, should I have it be in a yellow triangle or a red box? (I know either way works, but which one is more commonly seen with chemicals like copper sulfate?)

Could I just use the warning sign (triangle with an exclamation mark in it)?
I just think the lab might look a bit...informal with a small skull next to a types up procedure.
