I was in a paid fantasy football league this past year....it was agreed upon that it would be scoring only (meaning TDs no yardage points) as well as minus 2 for INT's and Defenseive points. Lo, and behold, after the first game, i come and check to find out that there were some other rules that were changed after the draft. Such as loosing a point when your QB is sacked or bonus points for yardage (like plus 2 poitns for a 40+ yard TD and 5 for a 50+ yard TD) because of these rules by week 8 i had lost 2 games that i otherwise would have won. I made a stir about it and was told that if it made a difference that it would be addressed later. Well once week 12 comes around I was told that this was not going to be the case and was SOL. Well i had played the season up to that point assuming that i would get some wins back. Now, the guy who created the league ended up winning and i have a rather large bill. Does this sound fair? Does it sound like i have a good reason to not want to pay?

to further clarify....
there was no vote....Me and two of my friends are the only ones that made a fuss about it...the other's didn't really care....but i felt hurt the most because i had a chance to be in the top 3 and to win some money.

Well what does everyone else in the league think? In my league, all rule changes have to go to an owners vote with no rules being invoked during the season.

it sounds like horse ****. kind of like he cheated to win himself. I wouldn't pay. in fact, i would probably smack him around as well.
