If you want to go to the movies with your friends, sleep in your ratty old sweat pants, or eat Chinese food every single day for a month, it's cool. If you want to spend your entire paycheck on a new TV rather than pay your electric bill, you'll be the only one complaining when the lights get turned off. Best of all, while we are pretty good at reading our own minds, few of us have mastered the technique of reading the minds of others, so you don't have to deal with that "If you really loved me you would KNOW what I wanted" crap that so many women (and some men too) are bad about pulling.

you will NEVER understand how great it is to be single until you are in a relationship that's going no where.
i had a great talk about this today.
when you're single. it's like a buffet with everything. somethings you like, and some things you dont care for, and then there are the sweet things you crave....
when you are in a relationship, its like you're visiting a buffet thats going out of business... there is only one type of food, and it's not very good, but still edible. you keep going back because its dependable for the time being. the service is okay....
i miss the other buffet sometimes. lol .
i hope this made sense.

There are many! After being married 23 years, divorced for 2.5 years, and now married for 4, the 2 years I was by myself , I learned alot about myself, went on alot of trips I probably wouldn't have if I was with someone, got lot of stuff done to my house, never had to answer to anyone(I got married the first time when I was 17) Being single was a growing experience for me, but I love being married now. I love having someone to talk to who is always in my corner when things go wrong at work ,ect. We work different shifts, only see each other on weekends,(fun ,fun) still have time to ourselves, mabey thats why it works.

You are your own boss. You can move go anywhere without asking somebody else if it is okey. You dont have pain coz you suspect someone is cheating on you.You have less worries. You are there to make youself happy and not how to make another person happy. You have plent of time to do what you want unlike were you have alot of time committed to what you are to do with your partner.

theonly thing good is that you can talk and do whatever more to the other gender. i think without a doubt being with someone and being in love is better than being single coz you dont get to feel nothing special and knowing someone loves you plus you can get what you want from ya partner any way. bless. k. frosty

Being single is freedom ,, not cooking for someone, washing clothes and all that, not worrying he's seeing someone else when he comes home late, No pressure at all, do your own
thing.. Run your own life.
But don't forget : (even you didn't ask) there's disadvantage too. .

You have control over your life. You are your own master. Noone to sacrifice for. You can read all you like. You can dance all you like. You can sleep all you like. You can Yahoo Answers all day, all night. Your time is not owned by anyone. You can achieve all your dreams without anybody pulling you down, pressuring you to devote more time to them. You can just go travel anytime you feel like it.
