I only like a few of hisfilms but i general I found him to be quite the cheeseball.

"Summer Rental" is still one of my favorite movies. I also liked "Uncle Buck" and "Splash", among others.

He came from the class of comedians that didn't require ethnic slurs, four letter words and religious slamming to be funny. They are few and far between. He was so funny and pioneering on SCTV, and his diverse movie career.
