If you have to ask this kind of question, I would guess there is not much of a relationship there. If you don't respect your partner enough to adhere to their wishes, I would not expect the relationship to last very long. If you want this to work out, I would suggest you slow down.

Answer yourself this ,do I love or care about this person and have respect for them? if you can answer yes then would,t it only make sense to listen to their requests . If you really need to ask that of your self then maybe your not ready to be with them or anyone Else unless you can have enough respect for that person to want to make them comfortable with you and then also to trust you .
