Why is there no "white history month"?
If there was an organization that only gave white people scholarships would they be considered racist?

I don't understand why minorities are coddled so much in modern America, do you? Everyone is a human, why do we all distance ourselves like this?

No doubt. It is part of "Political Correctness" another name for which is "Cultural Communism". (Can you say "conspiracy")

All of these things already exist. "White entertainment"? Almost ALL of the programming on television is white entertainment. The few shows that have black main characters are usually considered "black entertainment". There aren't that many shows where any minorities are just another character. I'd say a good 90% of the history I learned up through highschool was about Europeans. Nevermind all the other continents that were just as populated, and were making advancements just as important. The entire point of black history month is that black history is NOT equally distributed throughout the rest of the history curriculum. An organization that gave white people scholarships is allowed to do whatever it wants because it's a private organization. If you want to whine about the lack of white scholarships, start one yourself.

The reason we "distance" ourselves is that racism is not a thing of the past. If you ignore it, if you want to say "well we're all people, I don't see color" and pretend that the rest of the world is done and over with being racist, you're complicit in allowing racist structures to continue.

Anything that promotes pride or love of anything having to do with the white race is considered racist. Political correctness and multiculturalism has seen to that. Only non-whites are allowed to express those feelings. A recent case in point is the stink being raised over the "gangtsa" parties held at some universities by white students. Yet absolutely nothing was mentioned in the press when white females are ridiculed by ***** actors portraying them in the movie White Girls.

It is the American way, We live in such a Self-oriented country. If you look at Eastern cultures, they focus on groups. Everything is for the good of the whole. A "white entertainment" TV station? They already exist, the thing is that they are successful enough and original enough that they don't have to look for a niche market with a message saying that "we are the channel of whites". NBC, CBS, CW, FOX, TNT, the list goes on and on.

There would be quite the outrage if there was a "White Music Awards"
