i believe that they tell us directly what we need. however sometimes our conscience does not know the whole ball of wax, so our feelings can betray us at times.

No The feeling often lies on you Because if you were thinking by your feeling you'll 100% lose your life but if you thought with your mind you have a very good chance to control your self and slove problems you'll never slove it if you were listening to your heart and feelings

It always does but we don't always do what our feelings tells us.
That's why we find ourselves with all sorts of problems and then we turn around and say...
"I had a feeling that would happen"
Or.."I had a funny feeling about it"

not always - I want things that I know will not help me in the long term - gratification is not always good for you, Having said that if I know it's not good for me then perhaps i know what I want...another good question.... yes, our FEELINGS do know what we want I changed my mind

yeah, i believe our brains know what w wnat and need, even when it comes to emotinal stuff. i also believe that we dont know how to get what our brains want, we may also not have the experiance or courage to get it either.
you should just clear your mind for a minute or so, and the firtst thing you think of just go out and get it.
