Whenever I turn my steering wheel to the left while i drive there is a screeching noise, but only to the left. This noise is constant, it does not come in bouts. It seems to stop occasionally when i hit my brakes. What kind of problem is this and how much would it cost to fix?

The noise you described is caused by your cars front disc brakes. Some disc brake pads have a wear tab on them and when the pad is worn it makes contact with the disc rotor which causes the screeching noise.
not knowing the car make / model makes it hard to determine how much repair would cost but you need a front brake job.
typical 150 to 300

Typically the noise you describe would be from the power steering belt. It is unusual that this happens only when you turn left. First step would be to check the belt tightness. If that's good, try some belt dressing. At least this way you can rule this simple fix out if it doesn't change things.

Hmmm. Need a little more information for proper diagnosis. Possibly a strut or the power steering pump.

turn on your headlights so as which you will locate them (dealing with a wall, and so on.) and then attempt to start your motor vehicle. if your lights pass thoroughly off and then come back on as quickly because it incredibly is began, then you fairly've a foul connection. if your battery terminals are grimy, pour a cup of water mixed with approximately 3 tablespoons of baking soda on your battery and terminals (make beneficial your engine is cooled), then eliminate the terminals and scrub off any gunk from the terminals and posts with a cord brush. If it incredibly is not a foul connection, I sounds like it could probable be some lacking tooth on the flywheel assembly which might clarify why you have a clicking sound. it is going to consistently attempt to start till it catches on the tooth that arent' broken.
