I write, so I think about story ideas.

I let my my fly and create the most abstract pictures for me. That's the best way for me. It's something between thinking and not thinking.
It is hard to think about nothing at all, but I know that I will never fall asleep if I start thinking about things like money, what happens tomorrow, what else I need to do, what good I have done today, what if I won a lottery etc. (I have had such insomniac nights when). Thinking about sex doesn't help either... if I'm sleeping alone that will give me a hard time coz I'll want anything else on this world then but fall asleep.

all the crap I have to do in about 3hrs. Should be sleeping NOW!!! but can't Oh well life's a pain in the butt when you set on something sharp! Haven't slept much in the last 3 days can you tell?

Sometimes I think about a black haired, blue eyed man I know. Or a brown haired, blue eyed man I know. Or work I need to do tomorrow. Or my heartburn last night... thought my molars would catch fire! Ow.

Nothing ... I concentrate on NOT thinking. I have to put on a relaxation CD ... Thunder and Rain, or dolphin/whale/nature songs ... just so my mind will concentrate on relaxing and stop thinking. :)
