I disagree with you (if I've interpreted your illiterate ramblings correctly).

I think it entirely legitimate to sell something that is "fat-free" if it is.

Also, if there is a gift given away with a product for a short period, but the price doesn't rise, the cost of the gift is coming out of the profits that the company would normally make on that product. It is effectively free to the consumer as the price does not change. It is not free in the sense that you could remove it from the product and walk off with it. It depends on the price you're willing to pay for the package (the product and the gift combined).

As long as you're a relatively intelligent consumer and an adult that can make up their own mind about how to spend their money it's fine in my book.

I think if a person advertises to sell something and you want to buy it, definitely you have to pay for it in some way.
But that does not mean that the word 'FREE' should be banned from advertising. Sometime people really provide FREE services, not at the expense of the person who received the free service, but in hope of getting other benefits in return.

For Christ's sake it's advertising not advitising, You cannot spell what 'wat' or because 'coz'. Selling has two ls and shitting has two ts and the i comes after the h. Finally people who believe that they get anything for free after the producers have paid for the advertising slot need to understand the principles of economics - you never get something for nothing.

nothing is free in this world. It maybe free at first, but it may end up costing much more than the actual cost. they use the word free to encourage customers to use their products but i guess the word shouldn't be banned in advertising. after all it is a free world. and patronizing their product would greatly depend on the consumers. if we don't use their product, what choice could they have?

I don't agree since banning the word is just a form of censorship. If people want to believe in a delusion, let them, don't regulate what is put out though. A filter is not needed.

Nothing wrong with the word free, just be a little more cynical.
