And, no there is no food left in there, but I noticed a box of kleenex had been shredded as if a mouse had been there, is that possible? And, since there is no food is it gone? Noticed the kleenex box, which was on the floor of front seat 2days ago! EEEEEEEEK!

Yeah, it was mice. They love to chew things up and make nests out of your Kleenex and car insulation. They climb the tires, get under the hood and though little openings into the car and glove compartment.

Put Bounce dryer sheets and mothballs in the glove compartment and under the seats and stuff some dryer sheets in safe places under the hood too. Mice don't like them. If you can safely do it in your garage, spread little bags of mouse poison around the tires when you park.

How cute. I have a pet mouse that escaped and is currently living in my car. I give it peanuts and hamster food, and set-up a bowl of water. LOL

Probably, you should get a NO-KILL mouse trap like a HavaHart and try to catch, then release the poor little innocent critter. Some hardware stores rent NO-KILL traps.

Also, see Havahart.com or Victorpest.com.

mice love paper it keeps them warm maybe it was in the tissue box when you put the tissues in the car . Unless you have children or animals in the car place a mouse bait on floor of car when you get out if it nibbles it you will know its still in there.

<>Mice, because of their size and suppleness, are insidious and can get into almost anywhere. It probably was looking for warmth, as much as food. And no, it probably isn't gone. You will know in a few days if it starts to smell bad in the car.

Pretty strange.
If there is a mouce in your car and there is no food it will escape, don't worry.
Are you going to stay somevere hungry?
