It's D. Oxygen Deprivation.


- The myocardial tissue necrosis is due to the lack of oxygen rich hemoglobin to the area of the infarct. Human cells require oxygen to survive.

A and B could just be reasons for the lack of blood flow to the region, but not direct cause of cell death. C is just simply just chest pain unrelated to an infarction. ...and of course, inverted T-Waves or elevated ST Segment on the ECG could be a sign on the infarction as they are an indication of myocardial hypoxemia.
