I want to make a christian magazine... similar to cleo,cosmpolian,dolly ect..
but a christian one..one that will have pictures of famous people that are christians..songs to download..movies to watch...advice...and so on.. same things as the other magazine..but christian style!I want to do it so that it catches the attention of young readers...wether they are christians or not..i know it will eventually get around because i believe this is what God has called me to do. But im not sure how to start. I want serious answers..not answers like"noone is going to read a christian magazine ..its boring bla bla". Any ideas on how to get started?

That's funny, b/c I wanted to do the same thing with a website. I think the most important thing to start off is to compile content. Next, find a publisher in your area, or a major city (it will be cheaper). Work with them on prices for a professional layout, etc. By then, you should have enough people on your team that the ball will be rolling.

try setting up a web site to start off with,that can have articles,pictures,advice columns,biblical quotes and have it so people can post their problems and have fellow Christians respond to help them out,etc
then if that takes off contact a publishing company to get help on setting up releasing the actual mag.
good luck,and if you do get to release the mag i would like a job working on that mag
