hi delhi to muradabad to haldwani to nainital
there you will see travel agents who will give you 3or2or1 day tour with lodging and food package you will see a lake where pandavas found yaksha
its a killer lake dont go near it . dont use personal; car roads are very small.
i personally suggest you dalhousie and kajjar 25 km from dalhausie

Nainital is a very beautiful place.If u go in off season the hotels r very cheap out there.
From Nainital u can also visit Almora,Ranikhet & Kausani.
U will get a spectacular view of the Himalayan range

You have to reach haldwani by train(last station) and from there it is about 45 min drive.But Nainital is so very congested so better opt for places like mukteshwer,shitlakhet etc which are nearby(2/3 hrs drive from haldwani).For more details log on to http://www.kmvn.org/
