Generally, we feel that achieving some thing is the success. Is there any guarantee that what you have achieved is what is right for you. I think your ability to manage the given cirumstances is the defination of success ? What do you say ?

I disagree. Success isn't just managing. Success is excelling. It doesn't mean accumulating stuff or making a certain amount of money or living in a certain style of house. Success is being really good at something, and doing something that makes you feel proud and, well, successful. Just coping and dealing with life day-to-day isn't quite the same as successful. Managing feels blah ... life is OK. Success feels like "I'm king of the world!"

Success happens every day in many ways, just like disappointments. If the thing that you've achieved doesn't make you happy and content and full of wonderful, positive feelings, it isn't really success - is it? It's just achievement.

A think that if I achieve some of my personal goals I reach success. However success has two defiNItions, one is social success, become rich and honoured in society, and that is not worth a dime. The other success is personal achievement : try for example to make only one person happy, and you will be the richest person on Earth.

success is a feeling
if a person is announced as the winner of a race
and that person doesn't feels the same
and have a feeling that he could have made it in a better way
then he is failed to achieve some thing
so success is a feeling every one has his own perception on success

While living your routine life, one is fixing some goals & to achieve the said goals one is trying one's best to achive the same. All these goals are in that sense are the means of final goals & are not the final goals or destiny.
e.g. after becoming Dr. as per your earlier goal, one will be thinking about opening a clinic or hospital or serving in municipal hospitals or in the rural area. So the term "'achiveing goal' is infinitive & one has to be satisfied with the giiven sources & what you have achieved by hardwork. Otherwise our demands or goals have no end.

Theres long term success, and short term success, Short term, would be achieving a daily goal you set, and recognising it. Long term succes happenes when you are who you want to be, a housewife with 4 kids, or a brilliant CEO, and your happy with it. You can meet your goals and not be succesful though, you have to allow yourself to be happy with where your at. Sure you can set new goals, and it can go on forever, but I think Success is the to of the platue, and the new goals are higher ones.

success is the outcome of the troubles you come out alive. The success is not how many awards you won, it is how many obstacles conquered during your quest. We don't win for fame we win because we decide to. Even an act of goodness is success in itself.

Though we have to always strive to achieve what we like, success depends on the ability to like what we have achieved.
