Any ideas? I just bought this mouse, and installed updated drivers for it. This is very annoying lol, any help would be appreciated.

Is it a wireless mouse or laser(non-ball) mouse? If its wireless Id say replace the batteries, if its laser, you might need a new one.

you have not mentioned it's type. In case it is one, Optical mouse should not be placed on glossy surface. A sheet of paper, napkin, or a piece of cloth (cotton) is suitable mousepad for optical mouse

Mine does the same thing, and I checked for Viruses
and emptied my Temp. stuff that helped a little.

set a trap for it inside the box it came in, then take it back where you got it and get another one.
