because she's just another pretty face.
she can't sing, can't dance, can't act... and yet she is given so many opportunities that others would kill for.
look on the bright side... where is she now????

Packaging and promotion. She can't sing but, she does write her own songs (most of the time). However, she hasn't really been that famous in a while, there are new "non-singers" being churned out of the mill everyday.

I think she's cute and sweet looking/seeming, and really down to earth seeming as well. I think that people can relate to her a lot, and she kind of seems girl-next doorish and not perfect. There are a ton of perfect seeming stars, and so sometimes I think it's refreshing to see someone who isn't. Plus, I think she's an average singer, not terrible, and sometimes people just get a lucky break. That's life, I guess! :o)

maybe she's juz one of the more good looking of all the R&B solo female artists around at that time when she's 'famous'.. but too bad, she aint got da whole package nor does she have nice songs.. but wit da entry of Ciara, now.. she's gonna be the best female black entertainer afta Beyonce..!

Because of Ja Rule.. Shes the princess of "hip hop".... honestly I dont think she should be.. she does not know how to sing!
