My friend told me that though David is beloved in England, no one can stand Victoria. He said all she's concerned about is getting more money and "Selling the Beckham brand". He also said she's a media hound and doesn't like to give to charities. They've not been in L.A. a month, and she's already been at the golden globes. With more award shows on the herizon in coming weeks, she'll be in the spotlight even more. For all of my British friends, is my friend whose also British, is Vicky the archetype of the classic "Footballer's wife"? And yes I've seen the show on BBC America, and I'm not saying that Vicky has Stepped out on Becks,

Your friend is hundred percent correct.Victoria(Im calling her Posh for the sake of it ) is a total LOSER.What do you mean about in england , I dont know a single person anywhere who likes Posh(I live in India). As the Spice Girls have broken up long ago , there has to be some way they earn money .So I guess she's pretty happy that Becks has moved to LA Galaxy , even though his football days are flying out of the window.

Yep, thats pretty much all true. She's regarded by most English people as talentless and living off the fame generated by her husband. She knows she's on a good thing with him, so she'd never leave him. Even in the Spice Girls, she was the one who couldn't sing and did the least.

And I wouldn't necessarilly say that David is "beloved" here. I think he is generally respected as a good footballer, but he is often mocked for his general stupidity and silly high-pitched voice.

Yes, what you hear is true, she loves attention, she is a steriotypical footballers wife, with her own singing career down the drain, she depends solely on him and the Beckam brand, but there again without his wife he wouldn't be where he is, she is not very popular in the UK.
