Has anyone watched the movie ' The Excorsict ' out there?

If so can you please tell me where does linda's mother find Dimmy ( The pries) and what does she tell him when she sees him and whats dimmy's reply ?....And plz tell me how does dimmy communicate with the deemon and when he hups into him how does the deemon like and what does dimmy do ??? Please give me a good answer and ill choose you as best answer....I couldnt continue watching this movie cos my computer was.............thats why im askin....Thankyou

Wowie, I have seen the movie like a dozen times, but not in the last year, so I hope I am telling you the right thing.

Chris, the mom, doesn't go out looking for Fr. Karras (Dimmy), she meets first with Fr. Merrin, who is a phychiatrist. He is the one who becomes convinced that Regan is possessed, and he gets Fr. Karras to come help him. It's just coincidence that Fr. Karras is going through a crisis of faith at the time because his mother is dying.

Fr. Merrin is actually the one in charge of the exorcism, and Fr. Karras is there as his assistant. He's never been to an exorcism before, and he's just doing what Fr. Merrin tells him.

Fr. Karras and Fr. Merrin both communicate with the demon just by speaking to it. It takes them a long time to get it to talk to them and identify itself.

When the demon enters Fr. Karras, he goes out a window and down a long set of steps, breaking his neck and dying. Interpretations vary, with some people saying it's the demon that jumps out the window, taking the priest with him, and others saying that the priest takes the opportunity to jump out the window, and maybe take the demon with him, thus saving the little girl. I believe, personally, that it's the second one. I like the idea of a priest who has been struggling with his faith finally getting it back when faced with a demon, and then making that decision to take it all on himself.

At the end, Chris is done with her shoot and they are leaving. Regan is in the back of the car, and she doesn't even really remember what has happened.

It's a great movie, and you really should watch it sometime if you get a chance again.

I watched it waaay back in the seventies when it first came out at the theaters. Gave me nightmares and couldn't sleep for several nights, running. Then I went and saw all the sequels.

The ONLY thing I remember, though, is Linda Blair's head spinning around and also her barfing up the green slime. Sorry.

the mother met him through a mutual friend a fellow priest who attended her party. she initially asks him to perform an exorcism for her daughter,being skeptical damien karras (his full name) goes through all the red tape involved in getting permission for an exorcism however since he is also a liscensed psychiatrist offers to talk to reagan to see how far gone she is. he just communicates with the demon by talking due to some circumstances from there conversation (knowledge of his mother's death,knowledge of latin) he tries to go over the conversation at the library since he recorded it but is ultimatley convinced of possession when he is called back to the home while reagan is asleep the nurse pulls reagan's pj top up to reveal the words HELP ME appearing on her stomach an exorcsism is approved by the church and Karras is assisting an older pries Fr Merran due to his previous experience . the exorcism is long at one point they break karras goes baack into reagan's room to find that merran has died of a heart attack and reagan still possesed somehow came untied karrass full of hoplessness takes reagan and literally beats the devil out of her well telling him "come into me" you can see the devil enters into karrass appearing like he's going to harm reagan but karras fights off his powers and throws him self out of her bedroom window hitting the outside stairway rolling and breaking his neck.
