Dirk never played in the 1st league in Germany, he grew up in Wuerzburg and played for the S. Oliver DJK Wuerzburg in the 2nd Bundesliga before he was traded to the NBA

yes i agree with the top guy he did grow up in Germany but what you might not know is that his team was nicknamed the X-rays becasue that was where X-rays were first founded but other than what the top guy just said i can't add anymore than Dirk Nowitzki is a talented player and will win MVP this year hands down.
