Earl Campbell

I think he is the most underrated RB if not player of all time.

Brown- yards/carry
Smith- something about most yards ever and longevity
Sanders- wow and yards/carry
O.J.- two years with over 2000 yards not even the police can catch him
dickerson and campbell- just solid all round RB
Payton- longevity numbers very simular to Smith
Todays RB's may go in the list but you have to see how they hold up, five years ago it was all about priest holmes and M. Faulk but now no talk cause they didn't last. L.T. is doing it now but will he be a three or four year wonder? I don't think so but they take a lot of pounding.

^ dude, OJ only broke 2000 once, 2003 in 1973

I'd say yes

Brown
Sanders
Payton
Dickerson
Campbell

people who put Smith above Campbell are blinded by his #s. He had a great line, great blocking FB, and Irvin and Aikman took a lot of pressure off of him (with Barry Sanders for instance, everyone knew he was coming, but STILL couldn't stop him)

he is often overlooked. Top 10 perhaps. I think Emmit Smith is overrated though. He just had the fortune to be on some great teams. Put Emmit on the Oilers and see what he would of done.
