Authority - The more rules we have the more rules we all break. Authority should be questioned, that's whats its there for. If no one questioned the "authority" we would have no reason to have authority. I feel that if we lived less restricted lives then less people would be out there doing the things they do. For instance, drinking the US drinking age is 21 where you can go overseas and it is 18 or some countries do not even have drinking laws and the US by far has more underage drinking abuse than any other country.

It is healthy and educational to question, as long as people keep questioning the authorities then those who have power will find it harder to abuse this power.

Societies that didn't question what was going are the ones who have known a great deal of trouble.

For a while many thought Hitler was not a threat, they may not have liked or agreed but they didn't question their leaders or Hitlers rising up, not until it was to late.

So yes always question, learn and find out what is going on. Never let those who have authoritiy over you abuse that authority.

yes i believe so because 1.) it would give the authorities an idea what the people want so they can act on them or 2.) it would prevent them from taking advantage and controlling the people completely who wouldnt question authority.

"Society" as an entity, is predicated on you following the lead of the ones who you choose to be your leader/s.

YOU chose those leaders so you wouldn't have to do the thinking/work.

If all you feel like doing is questioning those who you choose to lead you, why bother choosing to follow them at all?
