I can't believe this people.... ALL OF YOU were told that Pele is the best player in the world, you never saw him play, ALL OF YOU just watched his highlights and 80% of those highlights were from the WCs ....
It's like what's better Mercedes 300SL 1955 or Mercedes SL65 AMG 2006....

I would say Ronaldo in his prime because if you look at Pele back then the defenders were not trained the way they are now. I respect Pele greatly and he was a amazing footballer who did great things for the football industry don't get me wrong. But I feel now a days football players are more trained. There are both legends but I would have to say Ronaldo.

can't say, to be honest. I never saw pele in actual play, just clips from his past games, and knowing a bit of his history. many who’ve seen him think he’s a legend and these guys know their stuff so respect to them. but i’m more familiar with ronaldo and I like what I’ve seen. hasn't got the speed of pele but he’s got his own slick moves and he scores the smartest goals. he may have slowed down thru the years bec. of age, injury , bad form etc., but he can still be brilliant at times. so bet. these 2 maybe pele would get the votes but ronaldo is a legend in his own right and in his peak he was pretty rockin’.

I think pele Because he was a brazilian legend in 1958 When brazil beated Sweden 5-2
but in another way Ronaldo was a legend too when he scored in germany brazil final match in world cup 2002 so the two players are V good
