When it comes to your availability of time and your ability to keep pace on anything to learn, on-line degree is more advantagious than the traditional one.

If your have the material time and the interest to finish any degree, the traditional way is more advantagious. Just think about the personal interaction among your classmates. They are by themselves very valuable learning exercise that comes naturally in traditional ways. In an on-line enrollment, you interact once in a while with the on-line teacher, while this is fine, it can never be compared to the benefits of face-to-face interaction.

Traditional degrees are most suitable for college courses. For post-graduate courses, on-line degrees becomes more suitable as I personally would advice that takers of these courses should be already working and hence would normally have no time to get the traditional way of schooling.

Hi, There are two issues: 1) Online degree 2) Library Science I am not qualified to talk about the library science aspect, yet an online degree varies greatly in its reputation. I would not spend any money at University of Phoenix or DeVry. People can hop on here and say, "Oh it was great..." Yet, as someone who looks at resumes, I just throw those away. Keep in mind that a lot of state schools, community colleges, etc. now offer online programs that when you graduate no one will know that you attended an online program. I would look for a school that has a widespread name, or can be perceived as having a wide spread name, from a brick and mortar institution.
