I just learned, recently, that Indians are a Caucasian people group and are three times more closely related to white Europeans than Han Chinese. If you even look at them, we look almost identical, apart from pigmentation. How come I didn't know this before? Was it common knowledge and I was just ignorant?

Oh, yes, I forgot how sensitive these issues are. I'm not implying anything here, or trying to destroy anyones "racial pride" or anything. I just thought it was interesting that we are far more closely related than previously thought. Sort of like discovering you're brothers rather than 2nd cousins. Lighten up!
