I just learned, recently, that Indians are a Caucasian people group and are three times more closely related to white Europeans than Han Chinese. If you even look at them, we look almost identical, apart from pigmentation. How come I didn't know this before? Was it common knowledge and I was just ignorant?

Oh, yes, I forgot how sensitive these issues are. I'm not implying anything here, or trying to destroy anyones "racial pride" or anything. I just thought it was interesting that we are far more closely related than previously thought. Sort of like discovering you're brothers rather than 2nd cousins. Lighten up!
*Oh crap, I didn't mean that that way. . . never mind.

Subtract a little color here, widen the eyes there, narrow the nose here, add a little pigmentation there...and you can make every race in the world identical.

We don't need to "over-similarize" ourselves. Racial differences are fine. It's an insult to try and classify or quantify a race on any terms other than the terms that it naturally occupies. We can be different. It's a good thing. And if you go around with your little calculator and magnifying glass trying to see who is and who is not "more..white" then you probably have mental issues that others will see, but that you really just don't know about. Thumbs down when the truth hurts, right?
