he wasnt picked as a reserve most liketly because of his suspension... which to me is complete bull because he is the leading scorer in the entire league and in the fourth all-star update he was number four in most votes among western conference forwards. but hey keep your fingers crossed... maybe he has a chance to be one of the replacements for yao and boozer not being able to play.

So lets see Kobe Bryant Rapes a girl Lebron James leaves his team because they are losing and Carmelo Anthony does not make the all start team because he was sticking up for his teamate. If I am correct this is the 4th time he has been snubbed. If anything he should make the all star game for the games he played over seas yes that dosn't count towards the voting but damn it coaches anthony deserves to be on that team and I am getting fed up with the N.B.A. Anthony needs to say something.

Well, obviously, this has been a popularity contest so i think even if you lead the whole NBA in everything and you are not that popular,(what i mean to say is, Carmelo is being overshadowed by his fellow '03 draftees Lebron and Dwayne) well you don't stand a chance being in the all star game.

I guess one big reason is because of his suspension and beeing involved in the fight with the Knicks. And reserved players are always coaches picks, so if you see Dirk´s stats beside points leading in each category compared to Melo (actually Dirk has the best FG%, 3P%, FT% of the TOP 10 players in the leage) it is obvious that the coaches picked not Camelo.

He does not always average 31 points a night. He was not chosen because he has missed so many games this season because of his and the others childlike acts. He has not worked very hard also and does not deserve it at all. I can think of others that deserve it more than him and they are not on the team.

What really hurt him the most is the 15 game suspension that he had to serve. If he didn't do what he did then I almost bet anything that he would've been in the All Star Game.

Because not only did he re-start a fight (which had calmed down) with a sucker punch, he also ran away from all 5'9" of Nate Robinson, who's a foot shorter than Anthony LOL

I heard he is already voted in for the next WNBA all star game. Dude won't be able to hide if he slaps a girl though cause they will hunt him down in a hurry. No mercy from the ladies.

Its the NBA! You cannot throw a punch at someone, get suspended for 15 games and be REWARDED for it!! Besides there are better players than Carmelo, namely, half of everyone on Phoenix' roster!
