Multiplication is just repeated addition

1)
A and B are positive integers

AB = A + A + A + A + A.... (B times)
You are adding lots of positive numbers, hence it will end positive

2)
A and B are positive integers. Therefore -A is negative. -A = -1*A

-A*B = -1*A*B = -1(A + A + A + A + A.... (B times) )
You will therefore end with negative of a positive number (from part (1) which will be negative

3)
A and B are positive integers. Therefore -A and -B are negative. -A = -1*A, -B = -1*B

-A*-B = -1*A*-1*B = -1(-1(A + A + A + A + A.... (B times) ))
You will therefore end with negative of a negative number (from part (2) which will be positive

connect the club. consistent with what technologies you will in all probability go with to do: BIOLOGY - calls for some assistance skills - which incorporate Spearman's Rank and classic Deviation (distinctive than that, difficulty-loose arithmetic like possibilities are high needed) CHEMISTRY - calls so which you will re-establish formulae and difficulty-loose arithmetic (multiplication, addition, etc) PHYSICS - calls so which you will re-establish formula and effectual mathematical skills Out of all of them, physics is the technologies which makes use of the main maths. Then it somewhat is chemistry and then biology (which makes use of the least maths). This surely applies for A tiers in college although! usually, while you're taking chemistry or physics, you will take maths. yet I took chemistry and did no longer take maths and that i'm doing effective, yet confirm you get a bodily effectual grade in GCSE maths (B or extra effective). stable fulfillment with determining on!
